About these terms
By ordering from KIKARA you agree to the terms set out here. They sit alongside our shipping, returns and privacy pages.
Products
Every bag is handwoven, so colour, weave and finish vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photography on this site. That variation is the nature of the craft, not a defect.
Prices
All prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings and include the cost of the bag only. Delivery is added at checkout. Prices may change, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.
Orders and payment
Placing an order creates an order record and gives you an order number; it is an offer to buy, which we confirm before we dispatch. No payment is taken on this website. We agree the payment method with you after your order is received, and we dispatch once payment is settled or, for pay-on-delivery orders, on delivery.
Stock
If a bag sells out or a limited edition piece is no longer available after you order, we will tell you and either hold your order for the next batch or cancel it without charge.
Delivery
Delivery times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs or incorrect address details supplied at checkout.
Your account
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
Intellectual property
The KIKARA name, logo, photography and written content belong to KIKARA and may not be reused without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
